"설령 내가 고통으로 말문이 막힌다 해도 신은 나에게 내가 무엇으로 고통받는가를 말할 수 있게 해주었다."  괴테는 예술가의 임무에 대해서 이렇게 말하고 있습니다.  예술은 인간의 삶과 연결되어 공유되고 예술가는 자신의 삶과 경험을 통해 예술 안에서 위안을 찾기도 합니다. 또한 타인에게 공감과 감동을 전달하고 설득력 있게 표현할 수 있는 사람이라고 할 수 있습니다.

 예술가 단체 K-ART LAB은 예술의 본질은 무엇인가? 라는 질문으로 시작하여 9인의 서로 다른 다양성을 가진 작가들이 모였습니다. 각각의 본인들만의 고유한 철학적 조형 언어로 동시대가 겪고 있는 인간의 삶, 가치, 생명존중, 계층, 기후변화 등 ‘카오스’와 같은 사회적 문제와 현상을 예술로 제시하고자 노력하고 있습니다. 

This exhibition begins with the question , “What is the essence of art in this era?”
Art is shared and connected with human life, and I believe that an artist is a person who finds solace in art through his or her life and experiences and communicates by delivering empathy and emotion to others. Goethe referred to the task of art in the following words: “Even if I am speechless with pain, God has allowed me to tell what I am suffering from.”
In this exhibition, 14 artists with different personalities gather to present chaotic social problems and phenomena related to human life, values, respect for life, social classes, and climate changes in their own philosophical formative languages. I hope that the exhibition will provide an opportunity for visitors to contemplate contemporary issues from 14 different perspectives and comfort each other, and communicate.
